Terms of sale
General framework for SeizedSale auctions. When a sale publishes written addenda, those addenda control for that event. This page is not legal advice and is not a substitute for the bidder registration packet.
1. Parties
Auctions are conducted under the SeizedSales brand. Principal auctioneer: Dion G. Abadi. Confirm the contracting company name on your registration and invoice before bidding.
2. Registration & bidding
Bidders must register as required for each sale. By bidding, you accept these terms and any sale-specific terms. Online/Zoom bids are binding when accepted under the sale rules.
3. Condition of lots
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, all lots are sold as-is, where-is, with all faults. Catalog descriptions and photos are guides, not warranties. Inspect when preview is offered; ask written questions before bidding.
4. Buyer’s premium & taxes
A buyer’s premium may be added to the hammer price. The rate and any applicable sales tax are stated in the sale terms. Do not rely on rates from prior sales.
5. Payment, removal & shipping
Payment is due as stated for the sale. Title passes as provided in the sale terms, typically after full payment. Shipping or pickup arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Reserves & conduct
Lots may be offered subject to reserve. The auctioneer may refuse bids, withdraw lots, or resolve bid disputes in a commercially reasonable manner consistent with the published rules.
7. Disputes
Report issues in writing promptly. Remedies, if any, are limited as stated in the sale terms. Nothing on this website creates warranties beyond those terms.
